Agreed. There is so much GOOD FIC out there, that everyone starts to elevate the actual books onto the level of the fic.
But, seriously, wanky HP fandom makes me freaking FURIOUS. It's like, "OH GOD SHUT UP FOR FIVE MINUTES THANKS."
