I think the people who disliked the ending were those who had really done a lot with HP and read a lot of essays and had found all the little things JKR worked into the books that never came through in the end– and I think it was because we realized that Ginny and Harry weren't good together, or that Harry was simply reaching out for something familiar rather than someone he truly loved.

Plus, I'm sorry, but it's way effing creepy that he named his kids after his parents like that. Ew.
