FFVIII: Squall/Ellone

The boys didn't like being kissed, but Squall didn't mind.

Ellone was older than them, so she would help tuck the kids in at night. Seifer told everyone that all girls--no matter how nice they seemed--had cooties. Irvine pulled the covers over his head to avoid being kissed. Zell ducked like a turtle under the blankets.

Sis just shrugged and smiled, then turned to Squall. Squall didn't care what Seifer said. In his mind, there was no way that someone as wonderful as Sis had cooties. So when she knelt down to tuck him in, Squall kept his face over the blankets.

Sis gave him a peck on the forehead, and whispered, "Good night." She then turned out the lights on the way out.

Squall could hear the other kids giggle. He could even hear Seifer call him "Sis' Pet" and "Cootie Monster."

He didn't care.
