FFX/X-2: Lulu/Rikku

Note: Okay, so umm, promise not to kill me if this isn't very good? I spent way too much time on this.

She hated it, how she yearned for him in those first waking minutes. It left her small, and fragile, and weak. She didn't want to be that woman, the sobbing, broken-down mess, the one everyone mocked with their pity. It hurt. It ached. It burned a hole through her, one she didn't want to feel.

So she wouldn't.

The dress fit snugly, hanging and bonding in all the right places. The belts strained as she yanked and tightened them to perfection. The earrings, the rings, the hair pieces, the necklaces, Lulu snapped and shifted and slid each one where they belonged. Purple smeared onto her lips. She tossed her braids behind her shoulders, pushed her bangs over her left eye, and took a good long look at herself in the mirror.

The purple necklace flagged attention to her cleavage, in a dress designed just so that to the ignorant eye, it threatened to slip free and bare her body to the world if she so much as bent over too far. That was the point. She hid behind a wall of black, a thicket of leather and cloth. Perverse minds spent more time looking at the size of her bust than what lie beyond the facade. She was a witch. A goddess. A dark, soulless beast with a killer rack who looked like she might burn you alive if you gave her a reason. Anything but a sad, lonely, pathetic little girl.

Her skirt brushed against the ground as she walked. The sights and sounds and smells of a living world hit her hard as she emerged from her room. As did something else.

"MMPH!" Lulu protested. A pair of lips pressed against her own, her head fixed firmly by a pair of slender hands. She felt those hands paw at her neck, her shoulders, the small of her back. She wanted to fight it, to scream... yet for some reason, she couldn't. Instead, she squirmed and melted into the other's arms. Her body buzzed, mind whirling, hot and heavy. Faster than it began, Lulu felt the other pull away...

"Hiya Lulu!"

"...Rikku?" It felt like a lump in her throat when she said it. A warm shiver ran through her when the Al Bhed girl winked.

"Cheer up! It's no fun having you around acting so grim and brooding all the time."

"B-But I-" Too late. Lulu watched Rikku bound away. She brought a hand to her lips. Her soft, tingling lips. And somewhere deep inside, she found something she thought had died with Chappu.
