The provenance of the following is still under intense debate. Most have decided to attribute the account to the late Marquis Halim Ondore IV (649-720 OV) although it does not seem to match the usual scope of His Excellency’s other memoirs and accounts of the era. What excerpts remain to us are vague and the gaps are unfortunate. The Dorstonian Historical Guild refuses to attribute the following to their former Marquis, but the piece remains canon in Dalmascan lore. The controversy continues.

It has been said that Ratsbane himself sought to (text missing) with the man’s (smudged) but Dalan’s beloved pipe was (text missing).
