Yeah, I can -- I can almost forgive Sherlock for lacking ladies, mainly because (a) the show is so obviously about the relationship between John and Sherlock (gay or otherwise) that, well, two dudes are the core and that's that; and (b) it's based on a source material in which I am going to bet there aren't many asskicking ladies!

But -- I'm always also leery to "forgive" this kind of thing too far, because... (a) I do notice it; and (b) it's a trend in a lot of media. So like. I guess, it didn't RUIN my enjoyment of the show - far from it; I am fucking in love - but as something I noticed I think it deserves a mention and a discussion?
