i am kind of terrified of it to be honest. i know some people who've had it done, but after i heard that it's not a permanent fix -- as in, after maybe a decade or two you need to get it done all over again -- i really don't think i'd get it done in my case (as i can see clearly with contacts as i am right now, thankfully) but in my mom's case, she's really worried about cataracts. she's approaching 60 and i think laser eye surgery would cause some complications.
