Setzer has never gotten the impression when she kisses him that she is angry at him. It's always something else, hanging over her head and just out of her reach - she has to show a cold and unfeeling face to the world or she will be called overemotional, perhaps, so she hides the anger and grief and only lets it show when she feels comfortable.
