ok i gotta hear tho:

1) are there pics
2) what kind of feeder tho
3) DID THE PURPLE SPARROW OR THE RED-HEADED WOODPECKER MAKE ANY SOUNDS (they have some of my fave bird song/calls!!!)
4) are the titmice yours particularly because (a) cool hairdo, (b) loud song, (c) fights larger birds, (d) all of the above
5) BIRBS omg this is the most exciting dw update

1) there aren’t many bird pics on my phone, it’s hard to get them through the window, but I’ll try to post a pic of my feeder setup, it’s great. They’re right outside the windows of the sunroom and I live in the middle of the woods so it’s up close and personal
2) I have two feeders, a mesh one for niger seed and a standard one that gets a blend of sunflower seeds, fruit & nut mix, and regular birdseed blend. :D
3) I can’t tell the sparrow sounds apart but I LOVE WHEN HELLA BIRD MAKES HIS NOISE (he is called that bc he’s at least two sizes too large for my setup and yet tries to pretend he’s a finch for food)
4) ALL OF THE ABOVE I LOVE MY TITMICE there’s like an entire squad of them who occasionally appear all at once, take over the trees, and just gorge themselves. SPIRIT ANIMAL

Bird feeders are fun, aren't they? I had one when I lived in my condo. Raina (my beloved departed cat) and I really enjoyed it. Do your cats chatter at the birds? We mostly got sparrows and the occasional cardinal, but it was still fun to watch them.

my cats LOVE the birds. they will all chatter, and Iggy has been known to jump a literal 5 feet off the ground to bang against the window right next to the feeder. i don't know if he thinks he's one day going to get through the glass, or if he's just fucking with them, but it's hilarious either way.

also, cat chatter at birds is like my FAVORITE cat sound ever.
