I am not, in fact, dead. Although today, after two days of exhaustingly hard labor followed by a rifuckulously nicely timed all-night insomnia attack, I might fool you.
I'm under the gun with a big request at work due in May. It's basically (#ASSLOAD lbs) x (4 kinds!) and it seriously pushes the limits of what we can make here at the pilot plant, so we have to rush every single step with perfect timing (which always happens amirite?). For example, what I am dead from Mon and Tues is what happens when a Pilot Plant tries to make amounts of polymer nearly too large for its pilot scale: we run out of hands, run into the limits of the drum dryer, and I spend approximately 12 hours walking, carrying, finishing, and sweating over the course of 2 days, split vaguely 5/7 over Mon/Tues. Some people walk for 30min and call it a workout. I am pretty tired!
Why do tired bodies decide not to sleep, I would like to know this please. I am seriously running on no sleep. I did not sleep at all last night. I don't understand my physical self >>
I am sure some important things have happened. FFEX is underway and this year's prompts are so delicious I am rolling in all of them. Easter was last weekend, yeah, that was fun and I got dark chocolate. FINNTROLL is next week, LOL: guess who will be hungover at the most important presentation/meeting of First Half 2010? YUP. WHEE. I am the proud owner of a Dreamwidth paid account, although I have to decide which icons to load up there (it won't import my LJ ones because I have more than 100). I'm on the last part of an epic FFVIII/FFXII fic I'm very excited about. Um. Uh. I'm almost 28 and realizing I have nothing to show for it. I'm off the mega-death-vitamins and onto the "only 16000% of the recommended daily intake" vitamin regimen. I would like a nap. Did I mention I'm tired right now?
