ff_fanlisting. The del.icio.us archiving portion is open.
COME ON, GUYS, YOU KNOW I CAN SEE WHO SIGNED UP AND WHO DIDN'T. The idea won't really work unless lots of people sign up. I mean, it'll work for Cendri and I to track our friends, which will be sweet. But it has the potential to be way more helpful than that.
Know someone who moved to IJ or GJ? Send them over here to list their info. Know someone on ff.net who gets ignored here? Send them on over.
It's not that hard to advertise for us (HINT HINT XD), and it'll help keep everyone in touch.

#2 - KISSING BATTLE! A meme in which we all write kissing scenes with lots of characters and try to OUT-WRITE THE OTHERS. Nay is awesome.
Come on in - leave prompts, answer a prompt, or just write a kiss and see if anyone responds!

I totally just realized that Jana actually called this chapter "In Which Martine Is An Asshole", which honestly made me laugh out loud and got me a really nasty look from my cat.

I am really enjoying this collab! The way we write it - in short bits, over email - makes it almost a role-play, only in language and with all the characters at our disposal. The style's very different, too, and I'm enjoying the challenge of staying in the scene and shooting something back rather than writing 983264 words of exposition like I normally do.

I am really enjoying this collab! The way we write it - in short bits, over email - makes it almost a role-play, only in language and with all the characters at our disposal. I like this fic (as a whole) because it's more dialogue-based than other fic I'm writing (especially at the moment), meaning it's a lot more sparse and I have to be careful to keep my pages and pages of exposition out of Jana's inbox. ;) It probably doesn't carry the punch that a 10,000-word chapter of HNtDB does, but 10,000 words will pretty much punch anyone in the face, so it's nice to be just different than that. It's a more refreshing punch and once things get rolling (OMG NEXT CHAPTER!) it should be relatively exciting. I don't think I've ever seen a fic done in which Squall, Rinoa, Quistis, and everybody else basically screw everything up, hard.
Anyway. I promote myself.
