Date: 2015-11-15 03:11 pm (UTC)I feel a lot of the same feelings about dress and presentation though I'm on an impasse with my life and how I dress right now. Being where I can wear scrubs to work has made me infinitely lazy in personal style land. Working with someone has helped me get a personal style outside of jeans and a teeshirt and it's OKAY to want to just cover up some days. I'm still working on it, the same age that you are, so you know... not behind or anything.
I totally get you about "alt" scenes too, honestly. I HAVE a huge tattoo and color in my hair and I work very hard to project that I'm /just like everyone else/.
Anyway, hit us up if you'd like some style consulting done. We work for food and beer. :D
