Date: 2022-03-15 02:35 am (UTC)I love this!!! Hope's listlessness and the way he holds onto those moments from before are both perfect, as is Lightning's casual unaffectedness. She cares, but he'll always be Hope, the angry boy who needed someone to acknowledge him. Even when they're in the same city, they're on two timelines, but there is a connection nonetheless. I love that you kept it as nuanced as in the game, too.
