(a) Snark. Basically. Ok, so I'll admit it in public: I wasn't a huge Seifer fan in the game. Basically, I thought he was a cock. However, when I got more into FFVIII fandom, I started to kind of like his potential as a character.
(b) That bizarre sense of honour that tells you he's not really a bad guy.
(c) Rebellious attitude; being a cock
(d) I actually find him really hard to write!! If I'm just going for snark, then yes, I can do sarcasm until the cows come home. But I find the balance of heroic knight / asshole / broken soul / arrogant prick really, really hard to reach. Plus, I don't think I've ever been able to quite understand his motivation, which doesn't help.
(e) Not really sure -- probably one of the snarky oneshots on brokenprism
(f) He'll be showing up in the FFVIII Crackverse, and I am sure irish_ais will be tempting me to write him again and again.
