DUDE JAMES WE HAVE TOTALLY FIGURED OUT THE CHORDS TO DICK IN A BOX

THAT IS ALL

Chords:
Fm - Gm - Cm

Bass part:

Ab - F -- Bb - G -- C - [some fancy shit]

We think, anyway

P.S. FUCK YOU, FALL OUT BOY, FUCK YOU. WHY DID I THINK IT WOULD BE FUN TO PLAY THIS SONG. James (or random F-List), do you know the chords to the middle part? (The song in question is Thanks for the Memories, and that was probably the most embarassing thing I've ever written in this LJ.)

P.P.S. We can now successfully play "Hot in Here," "Thong Song," "It Wasn't Me," "No Diggity" (ONE CHORD GUYS) and "Gettin Jiggy With It" - I LOVE LIFE

NICE.

This is making me wish I had a paid account now. Only 6 icons is murder, and I'm NOT going to take the advertising account option. That just seems tacky. At the same time, I have no reason for a paid account aside from icons.

Anyway, AWESOME work. Saving now!

Well, if you have firefox, there are ways to have a plus account without actually contributing to their ad revenue. I use an extension called Adblock Plus which basically lets me pretty much view the entire internets without any ads. If you don't see an ad, they don't benefit (which is why I turn it off for certain blogs/sites that I support and have ads that are not annoyting).

That's what I did before I had a paid account, anyway.

But thanks!

Thanks for the advice, but it's that I don't want to make others see ads, not that I don't want to see them. :)

Hey, I should be thanking YOU for making the Rosa icon especially! And really, I didn't think of the picture you got those from as being used for icons for some reason until I saw the icons you made.

Ah, well. If I find something that suppresses ads for other people's computers, I'll let you know. I'm nerdy like that.

Rosa's hot. It was the first icon I made. XD And well, I tend to like the artwork more than the CG figures for icons. Because I'm a hippie like that. Also, it was the only thing that had pictures of Cid and Tellah not super-deformed and goofy.

I like the art too! I think it's a shame that a lot of people get so caught up in the CG. The CG's nice, but so is art. That's why I like how FFT: War of the Lions' case uses artwork instead of CG like most games do.

CG is better for backgrounds, though. You can add all sorts of crap around it then. XD

That's true!

I didn't get my additional comment in in time I see. :P

It's also a small part of why I wish Square-Enix would stop catering to what's popular all the time and care about Rosa enough to give her her own art wallpaper like they did with Rydia on the 17th.

(I would edit other entry, but I don't have an account that lets me do that)

You caught me just as I got out of class. I can't wait until Sev checks her email and notices all the OFFTOPIC going on. HI SEV I HIJACKED YOUR JOURNAL TO TALK ABOUT SHINIES.

Well, I generally like ALL video game girls, even the "traditional" ones because there just isn't many of them period. XD You can't really fault the artist for what they want to draw, though (I had a similar complaint once there was so much Aeris artwork that Amano did and only one Tifa, but if you understand the type of girls Amano likes to draw, then it's not really so offensive). Also in FF6, the amount of Terra to Celes art--doesn't mean he doesn't like Celes, he just loved Terra's look (I do too, I've cosplayed it XD).

Sure, a mite of that might be "what's popular" but another bit could be just that's what this particular artist likes to draw. I think that factors in a little. You can argue there are more Cecil than Kain pictures too. Similar thing.

Just theories.

But you're assuming in there that it was the artist's choice, not the people above him. :P Because it's on the official site, I expect that it was a work that Square-Enix commissioned from the artist, or if it's a steady job, told the artist they wanted for his/her next project. As far as I know from artists I've talked to with experience, it's often "here's what we want, draw it plz."

BUT, to be honest, those artists are all either people I'm commissioning from, or people in the comic book industry.

Sev's reaction will be fun. :D

True. Still, I like to at least give a slight benefit of the doubt. XD Or think happy thoughts.

I mean, I was kind of annoyed that Cid and Tellah didn't get CG models, only the goofy in-game dudes. WHITE AND NERDY IS NOT PLEASED. I've a fondness for those types, though, so I'm biased.

Hey, you're not alone. :P In a popular character poll done at the Square-Enix party last year, people liked Cid more than Rosa. Breakdown was Cecil first, then Kain, then Rydia, then Cid, then Rosa.

Awww. When I finally finish the game I know who I'm writing about! TELLAH AND ROSA AND MAGIC GEEKERY.

TELLAH AND ROSA?! OLD MAN AND NOBLE LADY GO TOGETHER LIKE WHAT. ALL KINDS OF WEIRDNESS GOING ON THERE.

Seriously, I wonder how that would work. :)

I'm not suggesting anything romantic, just awesome geeking about magic. Because Tellah was some kind of awesome dude with both black and white, yes? And Rosa is a white mage.

Besides, why not? IF CLOUD AND SEPHIROTH CAN HAVE TRU WUB THEN TELLAH AND ROSA CAN HANG OUT.

XD

BUT WAIT HOW WILL IT HAPPEN? WILL TELLAH POSSESS ROSA?

Tellah-in-Rosa: "I feel pretty, oh so pretty!"

AHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I'm talking in game, like normal stuff. XD BUT THAT WOULD BE HILARIOUS.

Cecil: You seem... distracted.
Rosa: Oh, I've got an old man in my head and he keeps making comments about how my bra pinches.
Cecil: ...

HAHA.

The only way I think it could happen in-game is while she has Desert Fever, but then you have to wonder if she'd be alert enough to really talk with Tellah since all she does with Cecil around is call his name.

True. But it's fun to mess around with space and time just so you can have geekery.

I suppose, and you always have Tellah's ghost, or maybe him slipping in during one of the gaps but never meeting Cecil, like in Fabul. :)

I'd consider it just to toy around, but I don't have that "OMG YOU HAVE TO WRITE THIS SCREW ANYTHING ELSE" feeling going on right now, and I have way too much going on for the next couple weeks. I could probably do part of something with a good prompt. :P

Or maybe you can do it! Or a co-op? All my co-ops I've done with past writers have fallen apart. But then, it was a different type of community, a different type of writing, etc.

Hehe. :) It would be new to me, so there's good chance I'd be a bit odd as I try to figure out how to work in a co-op situation.
