Don't ask how I found it. Just poking through the tags, and I find it really, really funny that the majority of this post is about fantasy football. But this is where How Not to Date Blondes* started.

130,000+ words later, after more sexual tension** than you could ever possibly believe and probably ~5,000+ words of hot hot porn unfit for ff.net, we're still at it.

I have given myself a rigorous schedule, because I don't think I can seriously work on Hunter until HNtDB is finished, and therefore, HNtDB has to be finished this year.

I do hope you realise that you've just made my evening ^^! Good Lord, I cannot believe how much I want my goddamned A Levels to be over so I can get on with writing DELICIOUS CRACKFIC. It's disturbing how much just reading more and more of it has liberated my own writing, actually, and I mean that in a veryyyy good way. Zell/Quistis/Bobo is still in the works! Imma try and finish it over Easter. But first...Rinoa/Xu/Quistis*!

And gawd, now you're making me want to somehow write Crak/Quistis/Bluemagic multichap fic just so I can press all my own butons in one go.

Seriously, glad that our crackfic is inspiring YOUR crackfic. The world (and the FF fandom) needs a lot less highschool/emo/fall-into-Spira fanfics and a lot more COMEDY, if you ask me. I mean, as much as I enjoy FFX, the canon story of that game just opened this plethora of "nothing but emo fics" on ff.net that sort of turned me off from the genre.

It was designed for the kiss meme, but exams sucked my time away so it's gonna turn into it's own little cracktacular gem as soon as I'm over the next few hurdles.

And OH GOD YES no more emofics plz. I haven't yet found a single FFX fic I like (probably not looking hard enough, though) and there's hardly anything with Lulu in it, who I find particularly appealing. I mean, I'm as guilty of writing angsty introspection as the next person* but...seriously...I think if the their lives really were as emo as FF.net makes out, they'd all jump off the Strahl/Celsius/Ragnarok/Invincible/Other8BitAirship. It's something I've never really understood about the Final Fantasy fandom. Personally, I like the games because they make me laugh as much as they engage me on the epic!level. It kind of goes back to what we were saying about Quistis a while ago; I mean, I'm sorry, but any franchise that has a Quina in it is blatantly designed not to be taken too seriously. It almost as though people like to polarise characters; Rinoa is an airhead, Quistis is an ice queen, Irvine is shallow, Zell is stupid, Yuna is weak and anti-femminist, Lulu's a bitch and Squall is ULTIMATEWINZORS!! Sometimes I think crackfic is closer to canon. After all...I wouldn't want to hang out with IceCow Quistis, but a Quistis who laughs at her pretentious emomuffin student and understands humanity enough to smack him over the head when he needs it for the good of his own love life? Rock on.

Annywaaaaay....I shall check out the crackfic when I shouldn't be working ^^;. I played FF7 for a total of 5 minutes, but I don't care! All crack is golden!

*Let's just pretend for 30 seconds that my only current FFX fic isn't a half done Lulu/Wakka/Chappu angstspree.

AHAHA, I remember that trippy post. I think we should include that whole conversation in an "author's note epilogue" thing in the fic because it just makes me crack up. Seriously, writing that particular fic is the most fun I've ever had with fanfiction. I just love comedy - especially in things that should be serious, like "Romance!" and "Sex!" and crack pairings are definitely to place to produce loads and loads of it.

That or all that latent sexual tension in your fantasy football post inspired us. I mean football players do wear pretty tight shorts and bend over all the time.

also: POOOOOOORRRRRRN! (said with a rolled "r") Quistis can't wait to see what Zell will do to her, I'm sure. BTW, I threw in a few more last-minute PORN notes into the outline a couple of days ago, because I had this orgasm-limit-break-joke-idea-thing that was plaguing me. Yeah, it's as bad as it sounds. I have to keep on slapping my wrists to stop spewing forth more Porn of Excessively Bad Taste for that chapter because there are just so many things that could go wonderfully wrong. XD
