I did a grown-up thing tonight

...which was, in fact, making the choice to not be an adult at all tonight.

Instead of doing the dishes and putting away my laundry and cleaning off my floor and finishing up Christmas related stuff, packing and working and stressing...

I gave myself permission to relax.

So I made myself a blanket fort and sat on the couch all curled up reading fanfiction all night.

No regrets.
