Currently sitting in a strange active holding pattern.

Waiting for my new niece / nephew to be born; due Saturday, so the expectation really is any day now. Every time the phone buzzes, I think, time to get in the car...

Waiting for my bid packages to come in so that we can start evaluating and have some kind of idea of what's coming next. Waiting to get approval to have the money I need to award one of these bids. Waiting for the Japanese Overlords to come to their senses...

Waiting for holidays and the end of the year when I can have a break, some peace, and a sip of joie...

Waiting. Just waiting...

It's a tough spot because waiting is something Taurus is good at, but it isn't something we are fond of: we control freaks like to be in charge, so even if we can summon great depths of patience when waiting on others, we don't quite fancy doing so. It isn't that I'm eager to be exhausted and overworked (either by kindred babby or by job), it's that I don't quite feel in control of anything I have going on right now, and that's a hard feeling with so many critical things and nothing to do but wait.

(At least I'm not quite as alone right now; I have a - a something. It's something.)

I'm no Taurus - Libras are creatures of patience and balance - but even I can relate to your restlessness! When life becomes busy, it's hard to cope when the busy suddenly stops.
