Mobile Game Monday

riiiiiiight, here's sev again to run you through the details you don't care about on my mobile game monopoly! let's get this started, cause it's fest time all over, which means goodbye all my resources and time to hide my wallet!

[FFRK]
Summerfest is still ongoing, and my prizes have been sporadically good and bad. i've been pulling once on each banner, and while i've landed some useless stuff, i've also landed stuff like Tidus' ASB, Rikku's BSB2, Snow's Ice Chain, and Ramza's holy chain 150 if i didn't mention that before. it's nice to have all the power-up dungeons open, so that i can run that and near-immediately learn the new soul breaks.

i've been really at a loss as to what to focus on, though. originally i was going to focus on magicite farming & motes, since they're half-off-stamina, and that's what i should be doing - except that they require attention, so i've instead mostly been using my stamina to autobattle orb farming. i really need to organize some targets and work towards those, but at this point, who knows.

i also need to pay attentions to the date! i have 1 stage left in the FFI event (ends 04), two left in IV + four left in twins + jump starts (ends 09), all 12 left in dissidia (ends 07), AND I STILL HAVE TORMENTS (ends 12)! plus the summerfest dungeons: the Weapons, the quiz & music stuff (ends 17)! Sev needs a nice focus list with things to cross off, or i'm le doomed.

so far i've still only beaten the one 4* magicite (earth), so the next goal (loolol aside from all the shit above) is to move on to another 4*.

2nd anniversary fest is going on here! my character gains have mostly been bad - other than last week's Trance Terra, i think the most remarkable friend i've gotten is Seabreeze Dark Fina (who is apparently not too bad and also helps fill out my 5-Fina team for Fina Arena shenanigans). She was from the step-up pull, which I did for the Mage/Tank banner. They aren't actually as great as you think going in; save your lapis.

I'm sitting on some good tickets, too, but I want to wait until that Just Cause III banner goes because IDGAF about those characters at all.

i have been using half-price-stamina to RACE through a lot of the story, and i am having SUCH FEELINGS because of it. Lasswell needs to confess his love for Rain. Raegen in flashbacks calling them both his children. Sakura needs to join up with Citra. Jake needs to decide whether he wants to hit on Nichol or Lid. Did I mention Rain and Lasswell are aaaaaaaaaaaaa? Plus the ends of all the Veritas, the way they're all no longer really antagonistic and most everyone ends with honor and pride. I'm severely dead. I'm in the Crystal Tower thing, which I think is near the end of Chapter 1, which means i'm nearly out of Ch 1 lapis to haul (i don't do expeditions at work due to the attention they require walking characters around, so there's still some there) and i spent most of it on that step-up. oh well, there's always Chapter 2!

that's about all that's going on there, until/unless we get something new for 2nd anniversary.

[Dissidia OO] - just noting that i have to log in this week to get Ashe because waifu reasons

[LN] - i blew my diamonds on the Mirage suits because I loved them and Wasteland is apparently my Jam. otherwise, i'm working my way through Princess now because i need to farm some shit from Princess, especially the special stages which i usually skipped cause lazy. need to build my diamonds back up just in case. nothing else really going on.

[Mobius] - should probably log in here as well for FFXII event, which i haven't yet done; i have enough going on with these fuckin festivals haha

I care! I like reading what everyone's up to in their games! It makes me feel closer to folks. Even extreme introverts like me need social interaction sometimes.

FFBE: I beat the Just Cause 3 trial, though failed to write about it, oops. I had deaths while doing it, but all in all it wasn't too bad. I'm really enjoying this raid. I perfected my timing with chaining which means I'm doing massive damage. My highest so far is 48 MILLION! So much fun to see Olive hit for 26M.

I finished the current season 2 story. The problem with mobile games is that the story dragged out over months and you have to wait for it. I want to know what's going to happen next, NOW!

Because there's nothing else to spend NRG on, I've been doing trials. I beat Scorn of the Demon Chimera & Golem 3* on Saturday, and Carbuncle 3* on Sunday. Today I am tackling Elnath. I watched a budget clear video and prepared my team, but oops, I have to beat his shadow first. No problem, same team & strategy should work and probably decimate it, right? WRONG! I got slaughtered. So now I'm going to watch other videos and come up with a new strategy.

I also did the Madam's Manor side quest, which was a bit off-putting, in my opinion, because Lasswell doesn't speak during the quest. It was distracting. I'm very tempted to try the optional boss, though I hear it's really, really hard. But what else am I going to do with my NRG this week, anyway? We'll see.

I was excited when a rainbow dropped on the free summon yesterday, but it was fucking Jiraiya, boo.

I need to figure out what to moogle next. I finished Buster Style & my second Marshal Glove, so I can make a TDH unit now. I've yet to do so because I don't really like TDH Sephiroth, and lack Fixed Dice to do Tidus. I should probably get Fixed Dice next and make Tidus my lead, but... I just find him so hard to chain with, which means I don't like him. So I'm hesitant to do that. I could get Sworn Six's Pride - Dark next, which I might do. Or I can start working on defensive TMRs. Or, get my third Genji Glove so I don't have to swap it from other units. Hmm. I need to decide soon, because the moogles are taking up valuable space in my unit list.

FFRK - I haven't been playing this as much since my marathon evening to get Penelo, but I am still dinking around with it daily. I pulled on the Summerfest banner that had XV and X equipment, hoping to get stuff for Noctis as I use him on my team. Nope--all FFX stuff, boo. I've been doing the gift dungeons daily, and yesterday started the music record dungeons.

Mobius - Playing a bit of this daily, too, because of the FFXII event. I haven't had time to really delve into it, but I'm on the third hunt, I believe.

Dissidia OO - I've been logging in daily, but that's it. I want to play some this week to get Ashe because I like her, so I'll have to find the time to do that.

I ALSO GOT JIRAYA ON A RAINBOW and was also disappointed. ha. this raid is stupidly easy, which i am thoroughly enjoying, because i can carry some units to soak up EXP while still beasting out damage.

i respect your moogle saving - i spend all moogles right away, cause i'm usually lusting after like 20 TMs at once. the only ones i save, of course, are specific moogles, but i have no patience and always use them for instant gratification haha.

I care! Sorry for missing last week, though. Had nothing special to report.

Managed to pull most of the banner units for Memoria Freese before the end of the Grand Day event (tonight). And I did it using free Iris. Maybe I can manage one more 11-unit pull before the end of the day? Hmm!

Been having good luck in FE Heroes, too. Random pulls have included a 5* Luke, a 5* Lute, and a 5* Alm. Luke is the funniest pull for me, since he is so into his own hype ("Now YOU can be a part of the Legend of Luke!"). Currently grooming the newbies into units worthy of my 5* Army of Doom. *evil laughter*

Still picking at FGO to try and grind my units up (Fate / Grind Order, after all) for the next chapter of the main story. But. It. Is. So. Slow! It takes ages to level up after Level 20 ... in a game when the levels go up to 100. *sighs* If the story was not so interesting, and if it was anything other than Fate, I might leave it be.

The Grind Is Real in some games. I love FFBE but it can be super grindy, if you're working towards certain things.

I made my checklist of Shit to Do tonight while I was eating dinner and oh God there's so much. I'm on step 2 of 3 for the attacker step-up out of which I've gotten fuck and shit so far. I've had decent luck on the RK draws, but my wallet is CRYING right now because dream draws (I haven't done it yet but I know I'm gonna because let's be real.)

The FF12 event in Möbius is mega-cute and I've auto run it so far.
