Mobile Game Monday, on Tuesday

heyyyy, welcome to mobile game monday, where we don't care what day of the week it is! this delay brought to you by an awesome vacation weekend that got extended into Monday, which was totally worth it, and you'll hear about later

[FFBE] well, i'm working through the burnout on this game, and keeping up with the raid (except for this wknd); not sure what to do with stamina, so dumping it into story chapter 2 at this point. i'm sure there will be another event coming soon to ruin my day.
More excitingly, I've managed to pull Hot Dad Raegen, a second Fryevia, and (x2) Heavenly Technician Lid! Raegen is great and can chain w Frye, and Lid is a top tier breaker, so I'm really happy to see them. I'm at 99.7% with Onion Knight's sword TM, and 96.3% on Frye's sword TM, which is awesome. After that I need to narrow down some TMs -->
Also, we are nearing the 7* meta, which requires 2x 5*s with one maxed out to 6* (and possibly 1 with TMR ...? will confirm), which could change my TM farming plans. I wasn't doing too well with dupes of my 5* when I first started reading about it, but now I have some good choices to make (Wilhelm, Fryevia, Purp Drank Lasswell, HT Lid, LM Fina, Orlandeau, Yuna, Kunshira...) and while I expect it to be expensive AF I'm just glad I have some options.
I wasn't going to pull on the Star Ocean banner bc I don't know SO or the units, but since we're getting so many Trust Moogles for those units, I feel like it's worth a daily pull and maybe a couple tickets to land some of the better TMs.

[FFRK] actually not a lot of progress here; just keeping up with the events. i've been grinding things for a while so i really need to go back in, figure out what dives I can make and what abilities I can hone, and start moving ahead into harder content like i actually intend to. haven't pulled in a while; sitting on about 100 mythril at the moment. hopefully will get back into measured goals this week.

[LN] FUCKING FOX BRIDE SUIT AND MY DIAMONDS. CAN WE TALK ABOUT IT. I HATE IT BUT I LOVE THE SUIT. i'm seriously at like only 200 diamonds left, FML. i'm done pulling but it's so tempting cause i want to complete it. aahhh! otherwise, just farming for an outfit and wrapping up story.

Yay vacations! Glad it was awesome. My weekend was pretty good! I picked up My free t-shirt from the library for reading three books in their summer reading program. Also played a lot of games and got some knitting done!

FFBE - congrats on your pulls! I got 37 3* tickets and 3 4* tickets from the ticket return campaign. They netted me two rainbows: a second Basch (yay!) and my first Eiko! I've been wanting Eiko for her TMR, which will be great for one of my Luneras.

The 5* EX ticket netted me my first Loren! Looking forward to getting Loren's TMR. I, too, am confused on whether or not you need the TMR to make a 7*. People on the forums have been changing their TMR strategy due to impending 7*, so maybe?

I'm really embarrassed, but I also have to laugh at myself: I opened a ticket because I thought the Mog Minister didn't have enough items to make Chirijiraden, but turns out I misread the interface and what I thought was quantity available was actually the cost per unit, oops.

I'm doing really well with the raid, about 8,000 rank! I'm also farming the FFT event, even though event currency amounts are crappy. If you have eXon waylay you can get a decent amount of gil, plus I'm leveling Eiko in that event.

Star Ocean: Anamnesis - after just logging in for rewards for a few days, I delved into this heavily yesterday! I've got Maria capped at level 60. I haven't quite figured out how to break that cap so I can level her to 70. I got brave and tried the Maze of Tribulations, which was intimidating me a week ago; it turned out to be easy, now. I've finished the second planet story-wise, and started farming the Jie Revorse event (it's like a King Mog event). I can do easy on my own, and normal if I do multiplayer, though multiplayer is down today, boo.

I've of a mind to start editing the SO:A wiki that Gamepedia started a year ago for the Japanese release. It's bare bones and hasn't been touched on a year. If I start tinkering with it (maybe on Thursday) I might put out a call on Twitter looking for contributors.

FFRK - I'm back to doing realm dungeons as I've exhausted what I could manage to do in the limited time events. I'm greatly wishing I had more stamina, as I only have enough to do two dungeons before I have to wait for it to refill, and I've been forgetting to go back to finish the third for the daily missiin, boo.

Mobius - am stuck on the graduation tests. The first one says to do a lot of damage in one hit, so I've been bringing my mage and doing 9999 after a break, which I thought for sure was enough to pass, but nope! So I am very confused. Might just skip it and start playing the story.

Okay, there's a really good post about 7* here, and you do NOT need the TMR to create a 7* unit. HOWEVER, at 7* units get a bonus from having their own TMR equipped, so it's worth it to obtain them.

In the first batch of 7*, I can make Gilgamesh, Ramza, and Dark Fina. Gilgamesh is the only one I have the TMR for. I need to read up on their 7* forms to see if I want to bother making them. I haven't ever used my Dark Finas or Gilgamesh, and I've only used Ramza a few times for singing before I got Lunera. hmm.

oh, thanks for sharing! that's good to know - i'll have to change my TMR plans after I finish up OK / Frye / Vanille.

I can make ... hmm ... Wilhelm, Lightning, Orlandeau, and Delita. I know I want Wilhelm at 7*, so I'm going to have to work on his TMR then. I'll have to research the other ones and see if they're worth the time / exp / MONEY OMG THEY'RE EXPENSIVE

Congrats on Basch / Eiko / Loren!! they're also on my WANT list, especially Basch, just cause of all his versatility.

In RK: definitely focus on realm dungeons for stamina! Do as much as you can from the limited events, but stamina is your best friend! (i say, needing to take my own advice since i'm only like 2/3 through the realm dungeons, sob)

A sad episode of Mobile Game Monday for me, alas, because my smartphone died Sunday morning. :-( I put it on the charger, and when I went to retrieve it later, it could no longer turn on. Just got my warranty replacement today, and thank goodness for that, but most of my mobile games are kaput ...

... except Fire Emblem Heroes, thanks to my Nintendo account. *wipes sweat from brow* I transplanted it to my tablet for a couple, then moved it to the new phone as soon as I could. My army of Heroes will not stopped!

Restarted Memoria Freese, since that game has too much 'fic riding on it for me to give up. Might restart Star Ocean: Amnesis, too, since there is so little content that I can do that without having to play too much catch-up. But SMT Liberation Dx2 is gone for good, since it was too resource-intensive for my phone, and I have to give up FGO on account of all the grinding I would have to (re-)do just to get back to where I was. Big loss! But I will deal with it.

that's terrible. can you contact Support on any of the games and ask them for a restore? i've seen it happen in RK and BE, so it isn't impossible.

Haven't tried that, but I don't have my account numbers written down or anything, so ... it'd be asking a lot. I'm okay with things being this way, since I needed to cut back, anyway.

I feel like I will be stuck on one of the hell suits forever-- alot of it involves recolours of certain evolvable suits, which bites because I don't want to lose the original colour suit so I'm gonna have to pull an additional 16 base items just so that I can retain the colour--

I was like that with the mermaid theme a month back-- wasted so much diamonds but got ALL SUITS-- I felt so accomplished!

I just finished one of those type suits, where I had to farm DOUBLE to keep the original. it certainly isn't a hell suit, but it can still totally blow me.

I had a burnout break during the mermaid event and I will NEVER FORGIVE MYSELF

Mobile game Wednesday?

I am still enjoying FFRK and have reqched that mellow stage where a duplicate relic means "oh good, I can augment it all the way and combine it!" Now that I've learned that I should never ever upgrade with ordinary materials becaus INEVITABLY I upgrade a relic to level 20 and no augments and then I pick up a dupe and currse myself.

I find as I get older I like open ended games where one can keep building up and buildingup one's very best-stat Things, and I don't mind if it's slow as long as it's not going to cut off on me. See also: my extremely methodical system for leveling up/poewering up my pokemons with the best stats, even if it's going to take metric tons of stardust to get them to godlike levels.

My FFRk triumph for last week was augmenting Agrias' ultra weapon to 30/30 and then combining it, so I have a Durandal+ sword with 215 attack.

I am now slowly building up Gilgy's Ultra armor, since I have two sets.

i had to puzzle for a while to figure out what FFBE was. i'm so out of it!

Btw as I noted on my DW I have started Pokemon Go up again to help motivate me to walk, so if anyone wants my friend code it is there. i live in the lamd of Pokestop Park Benches, so I can send lots of nice alolan eggs from completely boring locations!

i almost always level up weapons and armor using mats! you can still eat the dupe. XD

FFRK is good for that kind of optimizing approach -- both weapons, mote dives for your best characters, AND magicites (magicite decks are a Thing of Strategy on the reddit; i'm just diving in to the 4* magicites and realizing how helpful they can actually be) -- it gets super nerdy, as much as you want it to be XD

using PokeGo for walking isn't a bad idea. i kind of got bored with it quickly, as i didn't understand the battling thing and didn't play frequently enough to be anywhere close to legit IN the battling thing, BUT my nieces love looking through all the pokemons. i'[ll consider!

I need to learn the Magicite Decks thing. I'm starting to see it, but I haven't really figured out the best ways to use inheritance and all that good stuff yet, and I haven't been able to beat 4*s yet. I do appreciate that FFRK has challenges for all levels of play!
