Date: 2020-10-11 04:53 am (UTC)Unless a plot suddenly falls out of the sky (which sometimes happens, but I cannot count on it), I tend to pants for a while just to explore the space and wait for PLOT INSPIRATION to occur. Eventually it happens. That’s when I turn to a method like the snowflake method (points up) or some variation of the hero’s journey or some other “plug it in” set of plot points and scenes.
But, yeah, most of the time I am just FUCK. HOW DO YOU MAKE A PLOT. And then suddenly: plot appears.
And this sucks.
