Awesomes:
1. Opposites attract - there would always be something interesting going on between the two of them
2. They'd kick quite a lot of ass together

Not-as-awesomes:
1. Risks the fandom cliches of too-sponky Rikku and emo-woobie-Auron, and that I cannot stand.

Ways to write:
1. An AU on the pilgrimage where Auron has to tell Rikku the truth to get her to stop kidnapping Yunie.
2. Rikku is an aspiring treasure hunter / sky pirate who robs Sir Auron one night

Oh gods, an Auron/Rikku/Lulu smoking mess would entertain me. A lot. I wish you'd write one.

I'm not quite sure which of them would leave the largest crater. Rikku's wee, but she's got heavy explosives.

Auron/Rikku is one of those pairings that I loved but sometimes am afraid to admit it, mostly because of the cliches that are inherently dangerous in something like this.
