So I browsed around for more information about my fancy special digital SLR, compared it in stats to some point-n-shoots, and -

and then I found it on sale and I just bought it. Like that.

I yearn for this thing, HARD.

So! I'm planning on doing a sort of photoblog thing, where I take a couple new serious pictures every week and let people comment on them and things I need to learn and things I did awesomely. This will guarantee that I take some photos every week, both indoor and outdoor, even if I don't go anywhere exciting. I think it'll be fun.

Ahh, tax refund, why do I treat you like free money?

Anytime you want to talk photography, I am all ears. It kind of has eaten my brain the way that stories eat other people's brains.

I once sat outside in the freezing cold and took 1300 pictures of ducks on a frozen pond, BECAUSE I COULD.

I, uh. *laughs* I bought my D80 from B+H because it was like $200 less than the store around here. I COULD BROWSE THAT SITE FOR HOURS.

And, uh, yeah! I have a darkroom. I do not have a second bathroom because of this! I am a little, uh, obsessive about photography too!

And I will DEFINITELY want you stalking me once I start up the photoblog I'm planning on doing to help me learn the D80 >.>

That thought makes me want to keep my N80 as opposed to selling it. I just don't want to have to spend money any more on film and processing anymore.

Cel (short for celeloriel, teh girlfriend of awesomeness) is pretty damn good on photoshop, and I have always been scared of it, but I think I'm going to have the take the plunge and get this book by Scott Kelby to help me overcome my irrational phobia of a computer program with LOTS OF BUTTONS.

I do not have a flickr page - yet - I post most stuff to my website. I'll be posting pics here at LJ, though, because I want feedback from a lot of people. Also because I am sort of an LJ whore. XD

I'm a fan of flickr 'cause for $25/year I get unlimited uploads and unlimited storage. I realized that if I just put stuff on LJ, I'll run out of room real fast.
