A Network Of Sev, or: How To Successfully Find Sev Anywhere

I've been wanting to do a post of this for a while, with all my NEW FRIENDINGS and the LJ problems and the DW influx and my fic crossposting woes and my terrible new addiction to Tumblr, but I haven't gotten around to it... Until now. This is going to become part of the sticky post at the top of both my journals, and hopefully I'll keep it up to date.

Anyway, this is a list of where I am in the world of the internet. Obviously this is very important to everyone here (I know your priorities don't look at me like that stop judging me for the love of fuck don’t you know I am the captain engineer of the shame train and driving the fandom hell bus)

I had it listed at ff_fanlisting, but that isn't up to date anymore. So here's a better master list. /creepershark

Things To Know: Feel free to follow/friend me anywhere! Also, feel free to not do so; or, feel free to unfollow/defriend me at any time. I'm a pretty easygoing person and I like to be very friendly online because I am much too lazy to actually get into wank, as disappointing as that can be.

If you've friended me somewhere, the rule that applies is: If you can see it, it's free game. Please feel absolutely invited to comment, reply, retweet, whatever, if you are so inclined! I love interacting with new people and starting conversations and meeting new fandom friends, and you're always welcome on anything that you can access. (What I'm saying is that if it seems too personal and you're wondering whether or not you should/can say anything: if you can see it, you can. I am actually quite careful about my filters, and I also just don't post the stuff I really don't want to talk about.)

JOURNALS

• seventhe - Dreamwidth is my main blog. I do all of my posting through DW, and I usually check it more frequently. I'll be paying for DW, because at the moment they've earned my money.


• first_seventhe - I am, however, still active on LJ. I will continue to crosspost to LJ, through DW, pretty much indefinitely - it costs me nothing to do so, and allows me to interact with people who are still there. I won't, however, be paying for it anymore, so you'll have a sad lack of icons and editable comments.

The content in both of these is, and will be, exactly the same. (MY VERY EXCITING THOUGHTS ON CATS, LADIES BEING AWESOME, AND GAY FANFICTION: WORTH SUBSCRIBING TWICE?) The conversations in these places will not be, which is why I have it set to crosslink between entries in case I'm talking about something interesting (spoiler: SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS), like fandom or a show or something. Feel free to cross over if it’s something relevant to your interests.

FANFICTION AND WRITING

• seventhe - AO3 has become my home for almost all recent work. It is definitely the home for any recent “worthy” work. I have plans to transfer older work over to it, over the next few months. If you’re looking for my recent writing I would definitely look here first.


• brokenprism - brokenprism is my old archive of writing on LJ. I updated it religiously, almost daily, until some time in 2009 when a couple things happened simultaneously (including AO3) and I just fell behind. I do plan to update it with my newer work, at least.


• brokenprism is the DW mirror of the above, currently containing nothing while I wait for the import queue to die down. It will soon be a mirror of BP/LJ.


• 2012 SevWords - this is my word tracker for getyourwordsout 2012. I’ve pledged 200,000 words for 2012. Feel free to watch how I do.

I hope to keep these all updated this year, at least; I haven’t yet figured out a great system for doing so, however. As I figure it out, I’ll update this page. If I start updating anything original again, I’ll also add that. Right now it isn’t worth pointing you toward Beacon at all.

ADDITIONAL SHIT I DO

• sevdrag - I am going to let my Tumblr description speak for itself.

  This is a place for me to post and repost happy shit that I like. It's mostly reblogs of my amazing fandoms (and my excitingly godawful obsessions with them), mixed in with a shitload of cats owls and wolves, with a splash of seriousness and feminism added until it makes absolutely no sense at all. Serve over ice with an attractive man in a suit and there you go. Usually I am drinking when I queue stuff anyway.

  I find myself addicted to Tumblr although it is 99.99% me reblogging shit I like other than actually creating new Tumbls. Oh the fuck well. If you’re ever wondering what I’m digging at any given moment it’s a pretty good window.


• sevdrag - I use my Twitter for A) spammy stuff like liveblogging FFVIII, which I am sure is annoying to many of my 8 followers, or for B) random comments throughout the day if it’s not worth an LJ post but I’m bored enough. Or, occasionally, C) when someone in my family says something that is funny and stupid enough that I post it. This means I can go days without using it and then spam for hours. But FFVIII and other live thoughts go there.


• drunkencatladies - exactly what it says on the tin. Only drunker.

OTHER SHIT I DON’T DO

• Facebook – I don’t use it as Sev and I’m pretty sick of using it under my real name, so don’t bother.


• Google+ - I have an account under Sev Dragomire, but I don’t like G+ either so don’t expect me to be there a whole lot, although I check it occasionally.


• Plurk – I think I am on there as seventhe or sevdrag, I don’t even remember, which should tell you how often I use it. I just don’t remember to check it.
