Public-ish announcement: Regarding LJ, GJ, IJ, la la la

Right!

First and foremost, I'm not planning on leaving LJ. I'm way too much of a community whore to do so; I love you guys, I love the community aspect, I love the newsletter, and I am much too lazy to go do this again on another site just because. I'll only move if everyone else moves (or if LJ does something even more ridiculously stupid).

However, to be safe, I've claimed seventhe on both GreatestJournal and InsaneJournal. (Yes, I finally got there before there was another Seventhe! Tempted to move mostly for that reason.)

Anybody else who is on GJ or IJ, drop me your usernames so that I can friend you. <3

My thoughts: I mostly just wish LJ would publish a useful guide on what, exactly, counts as "offensive material". Because I'm pretty sure it's not illegal to draw or write underage/beastiality/rape/squicks/porn in general. Especially when we're depicting fictional characters here. So if LJ wants to come out against it, yeah, that's fine with me - their business, their loss! - just SAY IT, guys. Say it, and say it clearly. There's this great invention called the English Fucking Language.


I'm pretty sure it won't matter in the end. It's a natural law (can it be Sev's Law?) that People Are Lazy and thus I think the whole kerfluffle isn't going to do crap because we're all too lazy to stand up. Call me cynical.

This post will be kept public so that I can make new friends!

Go right ahead, mind you, it's pretty much all fic, and will have bulk updates over the next couple days as I get my ass in gear and finish The Move. XD

I backdated a lot of the originals because they weren't in a comm, but a journal of itself and the transfer thingy program that I used did a bang on job of putting them backdated at the correct dates. But other than that, I am lazy. I'm not transferring any of my multichaps that way, though (got a friend who has an archive and I'm a one-shot addict). I apologize for bloating your f-list in days to come. I've already had one huge move before, so I just try to keep the headers neat--everything else is fair game. XD

And don't worry about mercy. XD Mercy is overrated unless you're dealing with helpless children. Even then I'm sure they could knife you in your sleep if they really put their brains to it.

Shadowrun is total win. I myself am a huge fan of the White Wolf family of games, because they emphasize the story and the world far more than the system, which is my pet peeve with Shadowrun and D20 systems of most flavours.
