seventheWork sucks. Things keep screwing up which, although not my fault, will come back to me eventually in the sense that I'll just keep having more things to do. Yet my lab is shut down this morning. So, I will have a fic-meme to keep myself amused.
This is the "Meme of Five", in which you give me a prompt of "Five Times ___" or "Five Things ___" and I complete it. For example, "Five Things Quistis wishes she didn't know about Squall" or "Five Times Basch and Vossler sparred". (lol as i steal my own examples XD) It can literally be five anythings: "Five spells ___", "Five thoughts ___", whatever you wish.
You are welcome to add a caveat "And One" at the end, i.e. "Five Times Zell choked on a hotdog and One Time he managed to eat it".
I will give you back: five (or six, if you tag on the ending) drabble-y snippets, which will connect into a story-ish thing. I am not feeling like long one-shots. I feel likekicking the ass of jump-starting my writing for fun. These won't be serious pieces, but hopefully they will be entertaining. If they suck I will probably just write you bad porn as a substitute!

The DougOut was surprisingly non-smoky for a Saturday night. The AC behind the booth was belching cold air, and Jessy was whining about it. The bar itself was stiflingly hot; Jeff, gathering another round of beer, was complaining about that.
In the background, Jason drank an entire pitcher or rum and coke and then humped a pool cue.
"Greg!" called Eric the DJ. "Greg, you're up!"
The crowd of 40-year-old women in the corner parted unwillingly and Greg emerged, covered in lipstick and wearing what appeared to be someone else's shirt. Someone's bra hung from his back pocket. The ladies swooned as he went up to the mike.
Jason climbed onto a table and danced while Greg sang "Message in a Bottle".
James swore under his breath and took another long sip of beer. Why wasn't that fucker playing any of his songs?
In the background, Fat Jenny gained weight.
