I just really don't like the insinuation that black people are supposed to vote for Obama because he's black, or that women should be voting for Hillary because she's female? You know? Not that it wouldn't be awesome to have either one of them in office, but shouldn't you pick a candidate on who you think is best for the job? I guess maybe for some people the color/sex of a person has something to do with that, but. I don't know.

I am such a political retard. Maybe I just don't know what really matters?

Yep. I had my own bout of stupid in me younger days, when Eliz. Dole was considering running, and I made the mistake to mention to my sister "Wow, I hope she runs because it would be cool to see a woman president." Boy did I get a talking to about that flippant statement. Now that there actually is a woman running for prez, I have a great amount of respect for her, but well. Respect /= insta-vote. You can (and probably should) respect your worthy enemies.

Then again I might still vote Clinton if McCain doesn't win or I find something I don't like on his policy platform. All I know is that right now from what I hear on policy Obama is on the bottom of my list.

But you know, everybody is still better than Bush (or Romney, bleh)! It's going to be a good next 4-8 years no matter who wins, or so I hope. :-)
