NEW COMPUTER, BABY. LET ME SHOW YOU IT.

My new monitor barely fits on the desk. The printer is beastly (wireless, print-scan-copy-in-one). The computer is fast and shiny and everything I've been missing for the past few years, while the Blackberry remained the dominant computing power in the household.

It has Windows 7 -- I actually like it, so far, although I'm a whopping 10 hours of use into it, so I'm sure I'll eventually find its quirks. I seem to have bypassed Vista completely (and from what I hear that's not a bad thing)

Pretty much. Win7 is basically Vista with the bugs ironed out- there are still quirks, though.

*shrug* It's Windows- quirks are pretty much expected.
