SEV! Nothing at all of interest has happened to me except I read a really fascinating book about tornadoes. Also, I worked a lot and I hate my boss with the fire of a thousand suns because I sincerely believe she is trying to emotionally abuse me into leaving by making snide comments about the stress attacks I used to get at my job, you know, when the job was really new, even though I never really stress anymore (or if I do I HIDE IT and don't tell those gossipy bitches anything!)
THEY WANT TO GET RID OF ME AND TAKE AWAY MY RAISE. THE WHORES. *clings to measly 25 cent raise*
Otherwise, that is all! Boring drama although I have managed to get myself into an exciting tizzy about the new header policy, which I will e-mail you about whenever you're ready to receive more e-mail (like right now, it would probably be lost...FOREVER.)
Your job is so terrible! It really makes me want to walk into my Target and destroy things! Although that would probably just cause more trouble for the poor employees rather than echoing up the command chain like I'd like to dream. Ah, well.
Ah, our header policy! I think about that every Monday, when I write "FFP" on my hand in the morning to remember to do it at night (shut up... I have no short-term memory) and despair about how nice it would be to have a nice header policy and be able to ignore FFVII fic. Then I of course come to work Tuesday and my brain goes dead.
Anyway, feel free to email whatever/whenever -- by this evening I will have sorted through the dreaded Inbox!
All part of my plan to make your journal as work unsafe as possible! I think I'm getting close to 100% UNSAFE at this point.
I know! It makes me briefly consider the intelligence of leaving school, this job, and that is seriously hardcore because I was so unhappy and miserable with school at the time, so disinterested. I have to remind myself that if I had finished school then I wouldn't be fairly sure I was going to go back and head to a school to make me a LIBRARIAN. It all evens out, but boy do I get really bitter over the fact that I am making CRAP MONEY at a job that sucks!
But at least it's a job, and in today's economy, I should be thankful, even if my boss is a doucherag.
I will e-mail you when I get home from work about my EPIC PLANS re: copy/paste responses. I was also stalking Phoenix Monthly and reading the explanation about canons there and going, "I WANT TO STEAL THAT FOR OUR HEADER POLICY."
Also, I've created a nerdy survey for us all to fill out. Clearly I had too much time on my hands.
There's no easy way, is there? Why can't money just be free??? *gets smacked by 8,000 economists*
I am thinking more and more about leaving grad school, seriously! I was thinking about you today, actually, and how brave I thought it was for you to just leave because you were miserable. Because I am also miserable! (Not, really, currently, since school's out for summer, but you know.) I have my first meeting tomorrow to discuss the whole thing. Haha, I was supposed to have a list! And I don't!
And that is extra-ironic, because the PDM description was mostly lifted from a document I was writing for FF_P. XD
