Nothing exciting save for my manuscript really happened here. Oh, well I started a new fanfic which is an AU where Ginny Weasley is sorted into Slytherin her first year and deals with the prejudices against the house, and dispelling the notion that all Slytherins are "evil" at age 11. So that's kinda cool I guess.

Nothing too exciting here either. Played MGS4, went through more of Chrono Trigger (I suddenly have a thing for Queen Zeal), ranted about a supposed top 20 overlooked game babes list that included Rydia and Jill Valentine, and went on a fanart hunting spree. That spree included Chrono Trigger/Cross, Shadow Hearts, and Arc the Lad.

Did some major sewing of half my thingie that goes on top of my costume, even though I can't get my mom to sit down and work on the winglets. Saw Hellboy 2, ran into a friend from high school and had an Awkward Conversation, and probably had a Porn Rant somewhere in the middle.

I LOVE FFV ADVANCE. I am so close to beating it! Did you know there are 4 new classes? I have three of them (you can't get the last one until you beat the game). They are pretty useless! But really neat looking, and that's all that matters!!

I just had my jury duty adventures, which were more exciting for the prospect of what might have happened (being chosen to serve in a first-degree murder trial) than what actually did happen (watching the jury selection without ever being called into the box). Thrilling stuff. ;)

I managed to dodge jury duty twice in college because I was summoned by New York but lived in OH for college. Apparently that is legit! WHO KNEW.

One thing I'll say about California: you guys have a very bizarre climate! (Or bizarre to an Eastern Yank like me.) I've never been anywhere where there are 35-degree temperature swings in a single day. Amazing!

SEV! Nothing at all of interest has happened to me except I read a really fascinating book about tornadoes. Also, I worked a lot and I hate my boss with the fire of a thousand suns because I sincerely believe she is trying to emotionally abuse me into leaving by making snide comments about the stress attacks I used to get at my job, you know, when the job was really new, even though I never really stress anymore (or if I do I HIDE IT and don't tell those gossipy bitches anything!)

THEY WANT TO GET RID OF ME AND TAKE AWAY MY RAISE. THE WHORES. *clings to measly 25 cent raise*

Otherwise, that is all! Boring drama although I have managed to get myself into an exciting tizzy about the new header policy, which I will e-mail you about whenever you're ready to receive more e-mail (like right now, it would probably be lost...FOREVER.)

Your job is so terrible! It really makes me want to walk into my Target and destroy things! Although that would probably just cause more trouble for the poor employees rather than echoing up the command chain like I'd like to dream. Ah, well.

Ah, our header policy! I think about that every Monday, when I write "FFP" on my hand in the morning to remember to do it at night (shut up... I have no short-term memory) and despair about how nice it would be to have a nice header policy and be able to ignore FFVII fic. Then I of course come to work Tuesday and my brain goes dead.

My mum stole my money again, but my dad has been away for a week and we've all been much happier, probably in consequence. I'm getting shiny new books whenever the postman brings them, which makes me happy. I finished the Digital Devil Saga games and they are freaking awesome. I'm now playing Dirge of Cerberus and liking it more than I expected to.

I think that was about it. Oh, and I've been reading the Anne of Green Gables books, and I am saddened about Anne growing up.
