#1) OMGGGGGG FOREMAN/THIRTEEN A;SKLDJAL;SKDJAS;KL;;;;;;;;;; ♥ ♥♥asa;slda;sda;

I am so happy that this happened. For the past three or four episodes I have been yelling "MAKE OUT~!!!" any time they were on the screen together, and all through this episode I was kind of yelling the same thing and also writing (pretty terrible) fanfiction in my head already for them. And then at the end - !!! is really all I can say.

Mostly I'm happy that Foreman gets some love! He's been such a throwaway character this season and it's nice to see him (a) get some writer attention and (b) get a piece of hot Thirteen action. I think Foreman's pretty cool, honestly, even though this season he hasn't really had much character or much going on at all I'm also kind of glad to see Thirteen coming around rather than having the writers turn her into a "party girl / trashy ho / omg I'm dying what does it matter" or something -- this is a sensible thing that could be really, really awesome if it plays out right.

I'm sure the writers will take it down some kind of bad road with Thirteen having herpes or something but for now I AM PLEASED. ALSO I AM LOOKING FOR SEXY ICONS.

It kind of put an end to the stringing-along of the House/Cuddy storyline, though, which is... a little disappointing. I don't really have a House-related ship I get behind (other than the OBVIOUS HOUSE/WILSON IN ROANOKE) but I kind of liked the chemistry between them and the awkwardness and all. I'm sorry to see it end just because Cuddy is getting / might be getting a baby -- because, c'mon, House doesn't want any part of that. Oh well. I don't really care in the long run, it was just an interesting thing that seems to have fizzled out.

WORST NEWS: They are moving the show to Mondays, which is when I practice with Snafubar! HEY [livejournal.com profile] hilldo, YOU KNOW YOU LOVE ME AND WANT TO START TIVO-ING MONDAY EPS OF HOUSE, RIGHT? It just kind of sucks because I don't like very many shows, and here they go and move one that I DO like. Grr.

ANYWAY! FOREMAN/THIRTEEN, WHO IS WITH ME???

#2) Last night's final: long, difficult, ultimately fair if a little bit too detail-intensive. I was there the whole two hours (hate that) but since it was open-book, open-notes I think in the end I managed alright.

Important part: I am now at 12 class credits, which is 12/24 required, WHICH MEANS I AM HALFWAY DONE WITH MY CLASSES. EVERYBODY CELEBRATE.

I'm of course at 1/6 in research credits so I'm nowhere near ACTUALLY being halfway, but being halfway done with classes is a pretty big deal to me. Yay!

#3) Who has ideas of things I can ask for for Christmas?!

#4) I wish I'd get over this cold.

#5) I forgot to mention that I twisted my ankle this weekend. By falling UP the stairs. If you don't believe me ask [livejournal.com profile] safety_caesars and she can confirm that I'm a total robotard. I haven't been able to walk normally on it yet but because I'm dumb yesterday I went to the gym anyway. I did a 10-min warmup on the elliptical and didn't feel it all, so I was pretty excited -- until this morning, when it's even MORE sore, probably because I worked out on it yesterday.

BTW, when you haven't been to the gym in over two weeks and you go back to lift weights, it hurts. You get really sore. I am just saying.

#6) I am really glad [livejournal.com profile] katmillia got her present! WATCH SOME OF IT AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK <3

#7) ...I don't think there is a #7!

See, this is what I was afraid of - it's okay for Thirteen to have "sinful" liaisons with females when she's acting out, but when it's time for her to be cured and grow up, she has to turn to penis Foreman. I'd like to believe that the House creative team doesn't think in terms of gay vs. straight but they did the same thing in the first season, having the lesbian couple lose their baby while the het couple got to keep theirs.

...I totally hadn't thought about it that way. I was more excited about pretty people making out on my TV screen. XD

Maybe she will decide that Foreman is just another sinful liason.

I'd rather they bring back Chase and Cameron. I miss those silly kids!

Yeah, normally I'm not one to see anti-gay propaganda when it isn't there, but this time it seems to actually be there. I mean, they even created a female version of House for Wilson - granted, I loved Amber, I thought she was fantastic, and I was upset for three days when they killed her off, but it still leaves the impression of, "okay, how do we get these two together without any icky man-kissing?"

Chase and Cameron were in it like... right at the end. Mostly I wish they'd make their mind up. I loved Chase/Cam/Foreman and I'd like to see more of them, but it makes it hard to like the new fellows. Taub was hilarious in this episode though. XD

Yeah, I don't often see things like that when I'm watching TV -- my brain just doesn't go that far! I can kind of see the point, though: it's a pretty het-tastic show, even with the random!shocking!Thirteen/girl episode.

Mostly I was happy that Foreman got to be involved in something nice. XD

I was never a big fan of Foreman, to be honest. I liked Chase because he was shallow and a bit of a playboy cad, and I liked Cameron because she was hot. Foreman just seemed boring.

I actually kind of think that's why I want to see more of Foreman... he seems like he never really gets his due on the show. Maybe he will end up boring, but I'd like to see them do something with him. I love Cameron. Chase I was so-so on because he seemed like kind of a jerk to me, but he gets lots of snarky lines that make me laugh so he gets a pass. XD

I like jerks and bitches on TV. They won't back down when things get tough, and they're usually the honest ones.

Especially in a show like House, I think the slightly-mean, more realistic characters work better than when the writers try to go emo-tastic on everyone. As long as no one tries to steal House's spotlight!

He was really on in this episode. THERE WAS CLINIC DUTY!

CLINIC DUTY! Oh, I've missed thee! XD

I don't suppose any of the new ducklings took it for him? I would love to see Kutner do clinic duty.

Not yet... House had a bet with Wilson: to see if he could get a Christmas gift out of someone in the clinic by being nice to them. I would LOVE to see Kutner with clinic duty, though... I could watch an entire episode of that.

At this point, I'm willing to say it's probably not the show's creative team, but the suits upstairs. It's Fox, after all!

True this! Why can't Fox love my House/Wilson?? (It's the kind of thing I'd never think about when watching a show, until people point it out to me. XD)
