Who is still interested in helping me test claim-a-thon code? Maybe this will cheer me up.

Here's how it would go:

• For right now, it would be Final Fantasy fandoms only. To make everything easier. (If I need a second round, we could do Gundam Wing...?) It will also, for right now, be fanfiction only.


• Once it's up, you'd secretly submit 3 prompts.


• I post an anonymous master list of all of the prompts.


• In an invisible/hidden comment to the post, you'd "claim" 3 -- give me a list of 3 that you'd be willing to write.


• I run my program, and if all goes well, I'll email you the one prompt you've been assigned.


• Because this is just for fun, you'd have about a week to write anything, a drabble or longer. I need everybody to come through on this; the point is testing the code, not making a wild list of backup writers.


• If somebody defaults, I will write it. If you want to be on Backup Team, let me know.


• After a week or so we all post our stuff somewhere and happiness ensues!

Comment if you want in. I'm talking the next two weeks for this. I have some time off of work and I'm looking for a happy project that won't be too much work but will make me feel good.

I'd love to join up, but I only write yaoi and only in ff7 and ff8, so my range might be too small for this.

Maybe I might be more use on the backup team?

Well, it's open to everything and it will entirely depend on what people leave prompts for. There may be a lot of M/M and there may not... No way to tell until people start prompting. Since you "claim" three prompts you like, there won't be any chance of, say, you getting a prompt you can't to. However, if there aren't three prompts you like... XD

Two options! One, you can be on the back-up team for the first round and see what comes up, and be my go-to for M/M if I need it. Two, you can just sign up and wait to see the prompts; if there's legitimately nothing you can write it isn't a big deal. We'll cover it.
