OK, you know what, screw it
Jun. 28th, 2012 08:15 amWho is still interested in helping me test claim-a-thon code? Maybe this will cheer me up.
Here's how it would go:
Comment if you want in. I'm talking the next two weeks for this. I have some time off of work and I'm looking for a happy project that won't be too much work but will make me feel good.
Here's how it would go:
- For right now, it would be Final Fantasy fandoms only. To make everything easier. (If I need a second round, we could do Gundam Wing...?) It will also, for right now, be fanfiction only.
- Once it's up, you'd secretly submit 3 prompts.
- I post an anonymous master list of all of the prompts.
- In an invisible/hidden comment to the post, you'd "claim" 3 -- give me a list of 3 that you'd be willing to write.
- I run my program, and if all goes well, I'll email you the one prompt you've been assigned.
- Because this is just for fun, you'd have about a week to write anything, a drabble or longer. I need everybody to come through on this; the point is testing the code, not making a wild list of backup writers.
- If somebody defaults, I will write it. If you want to be on Backup Team, let me know.
- After a week or so we all post our stuff somewhere and happiness ensues!
