anyway that's enough of THAT, let's talk about MOBILE GAMES????

[FFRK] - i was v busy last week and had a family holiday this weekend, and thus I ACTUALLY MISSED 2 EVENTS. sob! that however leaves me with stamina for those Torments which close in approx. 3 days. fuck. go me and my time management!

as usual after a fest, i've ended up with new tools i need to figure out how best to use (and which tools are kind of useless), so i've been working on creating a spreadsheet to capture my useful SBs. Right now i have both Physical and Magic listed by Element, as well as Healing, (half of) Buffs, and (half of) enElement/Imperil by Realm. I'm really hoping this being organized bit helps me plow through some 4* magicites, as well as focusing on hones. plus, it will help me identify candidates for mote diving and MC3, since i have plenty of both at the moment.

[FFBE] - I did miss some stamina time this weekend but did my free daily pulls of course! i haven't gotten anyone new and exciting yet, though. the MK event is fun since I have CG Lasswell, CG Fina, and a friends list full of 100% bonus units! come to me, all expensive things!

i'm really hoping i can pull CG Sakura, Nichol, or Lid, probably in that order. i'm still rather low on tix though, although i may pick up enough lapis to be able to hit the Lid/Nichol banner.

i also am busting through the last parts of chapter one in the goddamn story (it is on chapter 3),

i really need to start getting my shit together in this game to start on trials, espers, and the hard shit -- i just look at people's clears and it looks so annoying

all my other games have no real progress to report, as i've been so busy i could barely keep up with these two!

How are your games? Any other big ~festivals~ going on in other games that are fun?

FFRK - Heh, spreadsheets! I made one of my rarity 5 & 6 items. It might be outdated by a few days, I need to check on that.

I've done all the gift dungeons which felt very generous. It gave me enough resources to finally craft Tornado so I had wind elemental damage, which I needed for some realm dungeon missions. I'm now wondering what to focus on next in game. Any suggestions? Are any of the limited-time events worth doing at my still-newbie level?

FFBE - Oh boy. After doing a bunch of trials, I got back into my FFBE Script BIG TIME. I had bought a package of loose leaf paper two weeks ago, and I'll need to buy more tomorrow as I'm almost out again! I'm really enjoying seeing the story again. I had forgotten a lot about it. I'm near the end of Olderion, though my type-up is only in Dirnado still because I don't want to flood people's friends list with entries, so I've just been typing up one a day.

I've had some good luck with pulls! First I got Lotus Mage Fina in six tickets, and then on the next day my free pull was Maritime Strategist Nichol! WHO I REALLY, REALLY WANTED so I was very happy! I tried pulling for Sakura but no luck.

I've done four of the short stories (Nichol, Fina, Lasswell and Sakura) and will finish the other two when I get more paper, because I have been writing them down okay I have a problem *laughs at self*. What can I say, I just love this game's story so much that I want to be able to relive it whenever I want, forever.

Dissidia OO - last week I said I was going to do some story in this game. I have not. I am still just logging in for login rewards. I have some time today because I lack paper to write more of FFBE's story down, so maybe I will finally do some DOO today.

Mobius - still poking at the FFXII event, slowly. I was really enjoying it, but haven't played as much the past few days as I was distracted by FFBE.

I SAW YOUR NICHOL LAST NIGHT, I'm so excited for you!

Yes, definitely do time-limited events as high as you can get - you'll get realm-specific 3* gear to fill out any gaps in your inventory, new characters, and tons of orbs. Plus experience and Mythril!

(I got LM Fina this morning and I'm hype. I still want Sakura, even though I needed a healer far more than another mage DPS.)

I saw you got Lotus Mage Fina and was happy for you because I was pretty sure you needed a good healer. Congrats!

I'm intimidated by the limited time events in FFRK. I clicked on one of the FFVIII ones, saw the difficulty of the first level was level 99, and noped back out of it. Instead I did some more of the Newcomer Welcome dungeons, which I haven't finished yet. In the Realm dungeons I've been facing difficulty ~50...with ease, so maybe I can do higher than that, I dunno. Still: intimidated.

The “revenge” events are all high level, but the other FF8 event should start at level 3ish and have maybe a dozen intermediary levels before it gets to 99.

Level 99 is beatable with a level 50 party with decent bit not exceptional realm gear. (Synergy is worth about 15-20 levels.)

re FFRK - the timed events are definitely doing up to the point that you can! you'll get great rewards, new characters, and you can probably cheese one or two with a powerful RW. at this point, focus on those first, then realm dungeons and getting more stamina :)

re FFBE - I saw your Nichol, yay! i haven't had much luck - finally saw a rainbow this morning only for it to be MY SECOND PURP DRANK LASSWELL so yay for 100% i guess but i would love to land Sakura. OH WELL.

i love my LM Fina, she's redonk powerful.

I burned like 3 chapters worth of Dissidia story on Friday when I was laid out by migraine, and have been having excellent luck grinding the Mog event in BE! In FFRK I finally got to magicites, where I promptly got wrecked. And I did have some very solid fest draws in FFRK, which I'm excited to try out.
