The preventative measures in the second dream might be something to do with taking back control.

My stance has always been that there is no mystical thing about dreams; they're a way for your subconscious mind to communicate with your conscious mind, and only you can really decide what the symbols mean. :) I just draw on my experience and point out that certain elements must be important to you because you bring them up. I hope you glean something useful from it! <3
OH and ovo_lexa brings up some great points, too--the band could possibly be a symbol for something else entirely. Again, only you can ultimately work out what the symbols are. And don't be shocked if they mean multiple things; you may uncover more than one problem/issue by working through the same set of images.
