Public Service Announcement: There is a new chapter of How Not to Date Blondes up, finally! rosencrantz and I have triumphed over HOW MANY MONTHS of writers' block.

And here is how I spent my Monday morning!

'AND QUISTIS GOT HER WHIP OUT, AND SEIFER AND ZELL SAID.... OUCH? DAMN IT UR DISTRACTIN ME!

'BUT FUJIN WAS ALL 'OK I'M ALL OVER THAT"'

'AND RAIJIN WAS LEFT CRYING IN THE CORNER, WEEPING ABOUT HOW HE WANTED TO BE THE UKE'

'BUT THEN THE BIG BAD RASCAL CAME AROUND THE CORNER, STILL COVERED IN TP'

OH NO! WAIT WAIT...

... 'CALLED THE CARD QUEEN AND PUPU...'

... 'AND THAT FLYING COW IN WINHILL...'

AND THEN LAGUNA WALKED IN WITH SOME WHIPPED CREAM

.... AND WAS INSTANTLY ROPED BACK INTO THE ROOM HE CAME FROM BY ADEL'S TENTACLES

While this was going on, I then created this new OTP with twilightsrain:

...and then I died laughing.


Meanwhile, lassarina and I email-spammed each other about porn, and justira and I chatted about FFX, FFEX, washing cats, cat macros, and everything else inbetween. Oh, and cats.

And also, Ira is sending me books.

I love people who distract me during the day.

Zell doodles one of his 'no, it's not like THAT' obscenities in class, and Piggy and Quistis somehow both see it, and Quistis is all

"Another cannon?" while laughing, while Piggy is all "OMG PERV!!oneonoeone!!11!!!" with maybe a slap in for good measure, or something like that ... sort of another counterpoint for the Q-Z relationship

...whoa, that actually sounds like real plot. ;-)

Quistis makes Zell go study in the Library! On an assignment to learn Piggy's name! And Zell, who hates studying, ends up doodling instead. It's so cute.

It is! And we do have to deal with Zell having already been assigned 'homework' by Quistis... But where should we work this in in the outline? *takes a look*

OK, I say we put this in that sort of nebulous time shift period AFTER the clubbing part. Where Q&Z start getting antsy because they have no missions and therefore no excuse to hang out together.

Huh, we (read you since I don't know how you did it) should start another google document with the plot outline so we can update changes to it.

I will do that immediately! New document AHOY. (It's kind of funny how much we've veered from the original! In a good way.)

And, yeah. How about - Zell, missing Quistis but not really knowing it, drops by after one of her classes (she's been reinstated at this point) (this also provides some more good gossip and WTFing from Rinoa/Selphie), asking what else he should be doing for his "lessons".

yes! play up the STUDENTS part of it, I say. Maybe Rinoa/Selphie don't see it themselves (but rather hear about it through the selphienet in the classroom - or that chat email window thing on the balamb garden network). However it would by typical zell to not realize he was interrupting quistis' carefully planned lesson, and that that never happens. And of course, quistis not getting upset about it, that for sure NEVER happens.

Uh ! Maybe he even convinces Quistis to TAKE A BREAK DURING CLASS! (like step out side of the classroom for 5 minutes) - something control freak Quistis NEVER does.

Oh man, the ideas are spiralling! XD

Oh, that's PERFECT! Quistis is so relieved/excited to see Zell (without admitting it to herself) that she tells her students to read for 5min while she goes and talks to him outside the classroom! And the entire class just kind of jawdrops.

And, of course, the students that are Trepies already know the Quistis/Zell "rumour", so they spread it to the rest of the students, and ... dun dun dun.
