1. The first character I fell in love with: Terra. Green hair, mysterious magical powers, kicks ass. For me, that was enough.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Cyan. He's easy to miss in a cast this strong, but there's something about his story that really stands out once you're replaying the game for the umpteenth time.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Ultros? I mean, yeah, funny, but does he deserve all the fandom recognition?

4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Sabin! Or maybe people don't hate him, but he never gets any fic at all!

5. The character I would shag anytime: Locke. And I'd enjoy it

6. The character I'd want to be like: Hmm. As much as I love the cast, I love them for their flaws, and who wants flaws?? (lol)

7. The character I'd slap: Strago. No one's falling for it, old man

8. A pairing that I love: Locke/Celes.

9. A pairing that I despise: i suck at this question

10. Favorite character: Either Terra or Celes, a tie.

11. What are my five favorite things about the fandom. (1) There are some fantastic writers (2) who like to write post-game fic! (3) For an old game, there's a good amount of porn. (4) Lots of fun magic meta to play with. (5) Lots of really strong characters.

12. What are my five least favorite things about the fandom. (1) It's small! (2) There's not much CG art for pretty icons. (3) Did I mention it's a small fandom?

13. Who are my five favorite characters. Terra, Celes, Locke, Edgar, Setzer. (AND KEFKA!)

14. Who are my five least favorite characters. Strago? Gau, maybe?

15. What are my five favorite pairings. Locke/Celes. Leo/Celes. Leo/Terra. Terra/Locke (shut up, I know, but after playing Advance I CAN'T UNSEE IT -- I'll at least say, only in the first half of the game). Celes/Setzer!

Oddly, I think my favorite as a kid was Cyan, because at the time I liked the whole proper noble knight angle a lot.

A lot of Ultros' appreciation comes from some fan silliness over his bad jokes.

Haha. When I was younger, Cyan was Boring Old Guy. But the more games you play (and the closer you get to 30!) it's like... you know? That was a really well-done character, Square. Bravo. What a good story he has!

I certainly don't mind a good Ultros joke! I just don't see why he gets all the crack fic. I like crack fic myself, see.
