(YOU ARE THE ONE PERSON IN MY WORLD WHO WOULD SAY THAT AND NOT BE SARCASTIC! XD) OUR WHOLE UNIT IS ALKYL HALIDES AND RELATED MECHANISMS!!!!1! IT IS EXCITING!!11!! And our prof taught us a cheer, but I forgot it already.

We're doing more alcohols, and then it's multistep synthesis next, and then she's introducing this polymers thing as a preview to next semester. The room was totally silent in horror, except for me, who was letting off an "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" without meaning to.
