1. I like him because he is a BAD ASS MOTHER FUCKER who hasn't become completely cold, distant, or pessimistic. He has a dark side, certainly, and he's tough as steel, but he hasn't let it shape him completely.

2. Favorite line? Uhhhh this is hard. So I'm going to go with "favorite scenes" instead and they include anything from Go Forth Gundam Team where he finally pulls the team together, or anything from the fencing match with Dorothy.

3. Favorite outfit??? LULLLLZ I AM A CREEPER. SO: ANYTHING REMOTELY LIKE A UNIFORM.

5. A wish? That there was more good fanfic about this dude. He is a charming businessman badass, not some weeping angelic weakling. He is a clever, determinedly optimistic dapper fuck, not a baby. I don't even care about pairings; just somebody write me some good goddamned Quatre.

1. I like her because she reminds me a lot of myself, and I don't mean that in an arrogant way: her strengths AND weaknesses are both something I relate to on a really deep and intuitively nerdy level. Also, she's a BAMF with an insecurity complex: that's hot.

2. My favorite line of hers isn't a line at all, it is when she takes the machine gun and fucks up that spider-machine shit in Dollet. PERIOD.

3. She is in fact ridiculously hot in her SeeD uniform.

4. OTP? Um, don't really have one... In no order at all the top candidates are: Quistis/Rinoa, Quistis/Irvine, Quistis/Seifer, Quistis/Laguna WHAT

5. A wish: that she'd gotten more exploration in the game, obviously. I still maintain that FF8 had so much character potential that got abandoned. I really would have liked to see a peek into her past: her adoptive family, her early years at Garden, even just more development in the game itself. She kind of is important at the beginning and then falls away by disc 2.

6. Any kind of FF8 expansion where she's still pining after Squall. (It's okay though because they'll probably never return to FF8 anyway.)

I always wanted more character development for the rest of the party - they all seem like such cool people but with Squall as your protagonist, it's not like he personally takes much interest in them LMAO

1. umm, okay: I WILL ALWAYS HAVE A CRUSH ON SPIKE. I like Spike because he's this combination of badass motherfucker + total nerd + lazy fuck + dapper fuck + awesome competent bounty hunter and pilot + absolute fuckup + does not give a fuck: it's totally realistic and believable and complex and there are so many layers. Also he is hot as brainfucking damn, I am not sorry..

2. OK, it's a tie between two things I don't remember well enough to quote exactly, but either: A) the bit where he explains how one eye sees the present and one eye only sees the past (UGHHHHHHHHH MY HEART) or B) the bit where he's like, "Jet, do you know what three things I hate? Kids, critters, and women with an attitude", because LOfuckingL.

4. OTP. Hmm. I'm not entirely sure I have an actual OTP: I mean, I can get into Spike/Vicious and Spike/Julia, but like, OBVIOUS HEARTSTABBING ETC. And Spike/Faye - I can like it, but it has to hit the right note. Same with Spike/Jet, although I am starting to think that pairing doesn't even really exist because. What the ever fuck. Soooooo My answer is: SPIKE/ME.

5. A wish: that there was more canon. I realize this is probably the obvious answer, but like: I feel like there's a lot more angst and hilarity that could have been spooned out of the Bebop crew, and I always want more of a good thing. it's a character flaw.

6. any kind of expansion. Which contradicts #5, I know, but I don't want any kind of "sequel" where they confirm shit in the ending and ruin everything now.

1. I like Auron's entire personality. He's an enigma wrapped up in a cranky snarky badass coat, and yet underneath all he wants is for shit to CHANGE: it's more than just a good heart, it's actually putting his money where his mouth is for serious.

2. Favorite line? Can I claim "the entire dialogue before Yunalesca"?

3. HE ONLY HAS ONE OUTFIT GUYZ

4. OTP is either Braska/Auron/Jecht or Auron/Lulu. I actually do like Auron/Rikku, too, but it comes in behind those two.

5. A wish: that we had seen more of the pilgrimage in canon. Can I just say, Squeenix: I would play the fuck out of an FFX prequel game where you were Auron, Braska, and Jecht. I would pay $$mykidneys for that game.

6. Anything that undoes the poignant sadness of the ending. Which is fine, because X-2 already confirmed Auron ain't really coming back.

OH MURPHY

1. I absolutely adore Murphy as one of my top ten favorite female book characters ever and here is why: She is the most badass of Badass Normals to ever exist; she continually smacks Dresden's sexist "protection" urges down, time and time again, until even Harry accepts she is a Badass Awesome and doesn't balk in asking for her help and putting her in danger because he knows she is Karrin fucking Murphy; she and Harry have that kind of trust relationship I love to read about; and she is fucking awesome. So there.

2. Basically any time she makes fun of Harry

3. IDK I like imagining Murph just trolling around in like jeans and tshirts but packing like 8 guns hidden somewhere in her [hmmmmmph].

4. OTP: hmmm. Okay, I adore Harry/Murphy, but I am also REALLY PICKY ABOUT IT.

5. A wish: I basically always want more Murphy in everything, so I'm hoping that as the series goes on (I don't know how far you are so I won't throw spoilers around) she continues to be fucking important to the story - and to Harry - and continues to save everyone's ass by being brilliant and fuckawesome.

6. Please don't let Murphy turn stereotypical. And by this I mean either the stereotypical "girl who needs saving", or the "girl pining over love", or the "asskicking distant chick" -- what I like about Murph is that she isn't a stereotype too much at all.

1. I like that Edgar has so many facets to his character: he's a king, he's a flirt, he's an engineer/inventor, he's good to his people, he's playing both sides of the war. He's incredibly complex and I really do think he plays the womanizing/flirty side of himself WAY up to hide a lot of the other stuff from the public eye. Also: bitch got style.

2. I love the dialogue between Edgar and Sabin when they return to Figaro Castle. Everything Edgar says to make Sabin feel better.

3. ?? again he only has one outfit, unless you count GERAD, so my answer is going to be: LEOPARD PRINT BATHROBE.

4. OTP: I actually don't really OTP with FFVI, but pairings I like: Edgar/Locke (shut up), Edgar/Sabin (SHUT UP), with Edgar/Setzer or Edgar/Terra as possible alternates.

5. A wish: THAT THEY WOULD MAKE A REMAKE OR A SEQUEL TO FFVI HEY SQUARE ENIX ARE YOU FUCKING LISTENING TO ME

6. I would hate to see Edgar and Sabin's relationship fall apart again after the game. (And I mean this in a non incestual way okay.) They just went through so much for each other, and then bonded over the entire journey of the game; I'd hate to see them separated again as if they didn't care about each other at all.

Hilariously I asked you for Laguna before I even saw this. AWESOME.

1. I love Laguna because for the entire beginning of the game you are stuck with an angry, antisocial, pissy teenaged asshole as your protag, and then suddenly LAGUNA IN THE DREAM WORLD and then you wake up and go, "Fuck. I have to be Squall again?" Laguna is so clumsy and goofy and annoying and he has such a good heart and badass (hot) friends, and even as Squall hates on him you really get the feeling that he's everything the game wants you to be.

2. EVERYTHING HE SAYS?

4. OTPs: well obviously Laguna/Raine 4EVA, but also Laguna/Kiros, Laguna/Quistis, and um Laguna/Squall.

5. A wish: that we had seen even more of Laguna's life story. I know we got to play a lot of it, but I would like a minigame series of The Adventures of Laguna, Kiros, and Ward to play on my PSP.

6. I would hate to see Laguna get twisted. I know a lot of people think he's naive, but I don't -- I think he's clever underneath an idiot facade. I would hate to see him get bitter and negative; he's such an optimist, and he has a lot of really good values.
