And it's ok - you won't get spammed with the awaiting 8 chapters of this thing today for ff_press. Enkida and I are going to do a re-edit, as those damn mistakes and typoes always seem to be able to sneak right past us - and I'll post it then.

Maybe I can line it up with a Monday so that the only one who has to suffer is, uh, me. >.>

At the rate I'm going you'll probably be only getting a few chapters by Monday. Serious, the first 7 or 8 chapters of this are just like brain-breakingly full of bad punctuation, dropped italics and other stuff which is 50% us missing on the beta and 50% ff.net editors being the digital equivalents of asshats.

Take your time reviewing what I send you, because I just KNOW I'm missing stuff even this time around.

I'll admit, the main reason that I like having an LJ version is because LJ doesn't mangle your punctuation and capitalization and SWEAR WORDS WTF FF.NET. ff.net is nice because of more readers, but having an LJ version to direct them to on the order of "Yes, see, we DO know how to use the "-", we swear" is also nice.

I have to spend most of today cleaning, but I'm setting aside some time tomorrow to seriously, seriously go through those chapters - somewhere that isn't WORK - and overhaul them. So I'm not ignoring all of your emails. ;) I'm just waiting.

Also, I'm going to see if Rina is free over the next week to provide a third set of eyes. She's read most of it, so it would be for more like punctuation stuff than anything, but she's got a pretty good eye for betaing.

Whenever both of you are done with all the proofing, if you could shoot me back 2 versions - the word doc version for ff.net, and a html'd version for LJ - that would be excellent. I want to publish it also in enkida at the same time, just for archiving's sake. :)
