Aww, shoot! For some reason I was thinking about Facebook. I REALLY hate what they did with the Recent Activity since December. It's stalkery and YOU CAN'T SHUT IT OFF.

But in the event I'll dive into Google I'll keep this in mind. Yeesh.

February 2nd, 2009? Oh, honey, no. Shit's changed since then, even with their updates.

You might want to update this - facebook no longer has a ‘News Feed Privacy’ page. ...Why the hell can’t we control what goes on the feed anymore? -some comment on that link

What really bugs me: Recent Activity is "mandatory:" short of setting everything to "Only Me" by default it's on your wall, on your friend's feed- every comment, every photo you're tagged in, every status you liked (and the status you liked is on there, too!).

Skip down to The Ugly: Information That You Used to Control Is Now Treated as "Publicly Available," and You Can't Opt Out of The "Sharing" of Your Information with Facebook Apps.

I'm normally pretty on top of this. Damns, I was wondering. Well, I will certainly have some shit to look up when I'm not working. XD

I was just about to link you that EFF article and ask if that was the change you were talking about.

Ugly is right.
